Flick Around & Find Out ("the Game") is a free-to-play mobile game developed by SpaceRoachVR ("we," "us," or "our"). We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about what data is collected, why, and how you can control it.

This Privacy Policy applies to the Game on Android and any related services or communications from SpaceRoachVR. By downloading or playing the Game, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

We do not require an account to play the Game. We only receive personal information from you if you contact us for support (e.g., via email). In that case, we collect only what you choose to send us (typically an email address and description of your issue).

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

When you play, we and our third-party partners may automatically collect:

• Device Information: Device model, Android OS version, screen resolution, language/locale settings, unique device identifiers (e.g., Android Advertising ID)
• Game Progress & Settings: Levels completed, stars earned, scores, unlocked content, sound/music/vibration preferences, stored locally on your device. If you sign in to Google Play Games, leaderboard scores may be submitted to Google Play Games Services.
• Usage & Analytics Data: Session length, gameplay events, level attempts, ad interactions, feature usage
• Crash & Diagnostics: Error logs and technical data to help us identify and fix bugs

1.3 Advertising Data (Google AdMob)

We display banner, interstitial, and rewarded video ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may independently collect:

• Android Advertising ID (a resettable, anonymous identifier)
• IP address (used to infer approximate country/region)
• Device identifiers and ad interaction data (views, clicks)

You can reset or limit your Advertising ID at any time in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.

1.4 In-App Purchases

The Game offers an optional "Remove Ads" in-app purchase processed entirely through Google Play Billing. We never see or store your payment details. We receive only a transaction confirmation (order ID, timestamp, item ID) to verify and activate your purchase. Your purchase history is governed by Google Play's terms.

1.5 Google Play Games Leaderboards

If you choose to sign in with Google Play Games, the Game may use your Google Play Games display name and submit leaderboard scores to Google Play Games Services. We do not create custom player names, collect your email address, or store leaderboard profiles on SpaceRoachVR servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Run and save the Game: Store your progress, apply settings, unlock content
• Serve ads: Display ads via AdMob to keep the Game free
• Improve the Game: Analyse gameplay patterns to fix bugs, tune difficulty, and ship new content
• Operate leaderboards: Submit and display scores through Google Play Games Services when you sign in
• Process purchases: Verify "Remove Ads" transactions and apply the benefit
• Provide support: Respond to your questions and troubleshoot issues
• Legal compliance: Respond to legal requests, prevent fraud, enforce our terms

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

3. Third-Party Services

We share data only with the partners listed below to operate the Game. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data Storage & Security

4.1 Local Storage

Your game progress, stars, scores, and settings are stored in the app's private storage on your device. This local save data is not sent to SpaceRoachVR servers. If you sign in to Google Play Games, eligible leaderboard scores are submitted to Google Play Games Services so public and friends leaderboards can work.

4.2 Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect any data we do handle. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Use the Game at your own risk.

4.3 Retention

• Local game data: Lives on your device until you uninstall the app or reset progress in Settings
• Google Play Games leaderboard data: Retained by Google Play Games Services according to Google's policies
• Ad & analytics data: Retained by Google per their policies (typically 12-26 months)
• Support emails: Retained only as long as needed to resolve your issue, then deleted
• Purchase records: Retained by Google Play per their terms

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

• No account creation is required; children can play without providing any personal information
• Ads comply with COPPA guidelines via Google AdMob's child-directed treatment settings
• If we discover we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately

Parents & Guardians: If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@spaceroachvr.com and we will delete it promptly.

6. Your Privacy Rights

6.1 Deleting Your Data

Game data (local):

• In-game: Settings → Reset Progress
• Or simply uninstall the app

Advertising data (AdMob):

• Reset your Advertising ID: Android Settings → Privacy → Ads → Reset Advertising ID
• Opt out of personalised ads: Google Ad Settings

To request deletion of any other data we may hold, email privacy@spaceroachvr.com. We will respond within 30 days.

6.2 California Residents (CCPA)

You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information. Contact us at privacy@spaceroachvr.com to exercise these rights.

6.3 EEA / UK Residents (GDPR / UK GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to its processing. You may also withdraw consent or lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Contact us at privacy@spaceroachvr.com.

6.4 Do Not Track

The Game does not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals. To limit ad tracking, adjust your device's advertising settings as described in Section 6.1 above.

7. International Data Transfers

Data processed by third parties such as Google AdMob may be transferred to and stored in countries outside your own, including the United States. We rely on Google's standard contractual clauses and compliance certifications to safeguard such transfers.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Game evolves (new features, legal requirements, new third-party services). When we do:

• The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will change
• Material changes will be noted in the app update release notes
• Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance

The Game may contain links to third-party sites or services (e.g., social media, support forums). We are not responsible for those parties' privacy practices. Please review their policies before sharing any information with them.
