SpaceRoach picks

Games and gear I would personally recommend

I played them, I enjoyed them, or I think they fix a real headset problem. That is the whole bar.

What I would tell a friend first

I want a game tonight

Start with games that are easy to recommend: good controls, good replay value, and not a chore to explain.

My headset annoys me

Comfort gear matters. A better strap or battery setup can save the headset from collecting dust. My VR accessories guide covers straps, grips, and cases.

I want to avoid overpaying

Check the store page before you buy. Some links have discounts, and some prices just move around.

I want the short version

If it feels like store filler, it does not belong here. The list is supposed to help you skip the sludge.

The friend test

If I would feel weird recommending it to somebody in the VR community, it does not belong here.

Comfort matters

A game can look great and still be a bad first pick if it makes half the room queasy.

Honest about links

Some links here support SpaceRoachVR. Every pick still has to be worth it first.
